62nd Annual Training Seminar Charity Partner: Blue Angels Foundation

NCMS is proud to have selected the Blue Angels Foundation as their charity of choice for the 62nd Annual Training Seminar. Please join us for a presentation from Scott “Intake” Kartvedt, President of the Blue Angels Foundation on Wednesday during the general session.

Please stay after the presentation for a special book signing. NCMS will have copies of his book available for purchase in the NCMS Store, and you may also purchase a copy in advance by clicking here.

The Blue Angels Foundation is dedicated to ensuring wounded veterans and their families receive the care, stability, and support they have earned through service. By funding mental health care, suicide prevention, post-traumatic stress treatment, transitional housing, and rehabilitation programs, the Foundation helps veterans successfully reintegrate into civilian life and rebuild purpose. As NCMS’ Charity of Choice, the Blue Angels Foundation transforms gratitude into action, providing timely access to proven care and standing with those who have served our nation, long after the uniform comes off. Together, we honor service. Together, we save lives.

Blood Drive Partner: LifeSouth Community Blood Centers

NCMS is proud to partner with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers as the official blood drive partner for the 62nd Annual Training Seminar.

Founded in 1974, LifeSouth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community blood center serving hospitals across Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. As a community-based blood supplier, the blood collected from donors directly supports patients in the communities it serves—ensuring that when a family member, friend, or neighbor needs blood, it is there. With more than 1,000 blood drives each month, 32 donor centers, 42 bloodmobiles, and over 275,000 blood components supplied annually to 100+ hospitals, LifeSouth exemplifies the power of partnership in action.

This is a great opportunity for NCMS attendees to give back in a meaningful way and help save lives.

Support the St. Jude’s Happy Cart!

The NCMS Annual Training Seminar is right around the corner, and this year we are proud to support a meaningful local charity: St. Jude’s Happy Cart. This initiative brings comfort, joy, and a sense of normalcy to patients at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by providing small items that brighten their day during treatment.

The best part—you don’t have to attend the seminar to make a difference. Everyone in the NCMS community can participate.

Two Ways to Contribute
1. Shop the Amazon Wish List
St. Jude’s has curated a list of items that directly support the Happy Cart—ranging from toys and games to comfort items and creative supplies. All items purchased will be collected the Monday before the seminar, then assembled by attendees into gift boxes for delivery to St. Jude’s patients. Click here to purchase an item.

2. Make a Direct Donation
Prefer to give financially? Donations can be made through the NCMS Gives portal. Every contribution—large or small—helps St. Jude continue its mission of providing world-class care at no cost to families. Click here to make a donation.

Let’s Make an Impact Together

Whether you’re attending the seminar or supporting from afar, your generosity helps bring comfort, hope, and smiles to children and families who need it most.

America’s VetDogs

Since 2013, NCMS has proudly partnered with America’s VetDogs as a beneficiary of our charitable efforts at the Annual Training Seminar. We are honored to be a corporate sponsor and to support their vital mission.

America’s VetDogs is dedicated to providing assistance dogs—free of charge—to veterans of all eras who have sacrificed so much for our country, as well as to first responders, including fire, police, and emergency medical personnel. These service dogs are specially trained to help mitigate the challenges of a veteran’s or first responder’s disability, creating an unbreakable bond of loyalty and trust between the dog and its handler as they work together as a team.

NCMS places a high value on its partnership with America’s VetDogs. We encourage you to visit www.vetdogs.org/ncms to learn more about this incredible organization. For more information about fundraising opportunities with America’s VetDogs, please contact Colleen Elliott.

America’s VetDogs is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
